I was referred to Pinky by a family member, I was arranged a meeting with Mark and Pinky when my mortgage repayments were much lower than they are now and they did a great job of getting my hopes up, Mark gave me confidence that something would be worked out quickly. 3 and weeks went by with no contact so I reached out, it took 3 days after this for someone to call me back, I was told everything is ok they are working out a deal with bank of melbourne, 2 more weeks go by with no contact, reach out again apparently not enough income (bear in mind there have been 2 interest rate rises while I've been waiting), advised I have proof of income, Pinky said it should help so I provided it, 2 more weeks go by with no contact and my current bank pre emptively increased rates, messaged Pinky again and she assured me she could get a better deal but just couldn't get service. Honestly could have just said you can't help rather than just leading me on for over 2 months, I probably could have got a better deal if I went with a different company but because I was messed with for so long that is no longer possible.

My experience with ALIC was painful and very disappointing. Mark was rude, condensing and yelled at me on multiple occasions. His staff were not proactive in their communication and micro management was needed at every step of the process. I would not recommend ALIC to anyone.
